Powder Horn
Powder Horn is a six-day skills resource course. You will be connected with expert consultants in some 20 high-adventure areas. Each course is slightly different, but you can expect to see sports ranging from aquatics to mountain biking to mountain climbing to first aid to SCUBA to shooting sports to kayaking to - well, you get the picture. Sea Scout Ship 1659 named 2010 BSA National Flagship
A heartfelt congratulation goes to Ship Boatswain Samuel W. Sexton, Skipper Spencer Rawlins, Jr., and the dedicated Minnow crew and adult volunteers of their committee. The S.S.S. Minnow name will be inscribed on a perpetual trophy now on display at the National Scouting Museum in Irving, Texas. An identical trophy will be presented to the ship's leadership at the National Annual Meeting for the Boy Scouts of America on May 28, 2010. (read more)
